FAQ

Find answers to all your questions regarding Ed Sheeran’s concerts in Øresundsparken on August 28, 29, 30 and 31, 2025.

WHEN & WHERE

The concerts will take place in Øresundsparken, 2770 Kastrup. Doors open each day at 4:00 p.m. The first artist will take the stage at 6:00 p.m., and the concerts will end around 10:30 p.m.

It is not possible to leave the venue and return later once you have entered.

Øresundsparken is a public green area on Amager in Tårnby Municipality, located between Amager Strandvej and Bøjlevej near the beach area “Sneglen” and the Blue Planet.

When an artist of Ed Sheeran’s caliber comes to Denmark, it calls for an extraordinary setting. There are very few places in Denmark that can gather 45,000 people a day – this is soon to happen in Øreunsdsparken.

TICKETS

To make your ticket purchase as secure as possible, Ed Sheeran and his team are introducing a so-called app ticket for this tour, which protects fans against copying, fake tickets and illegal resale. Your ticket should therefore NOT be printed but can be found in the app and scanned at the entrance to the concert.

You can find a guide to your app ticket here.

It’s recommended that you download the tickets and learn as much as possible about the event before you arrive at the venue. If you need help with your ticket, Billetlugen will be present at the entrance.

All ticket details are described on Billetlugen’s website. We recommend ticket buyers read this information carefully well in advance of the concert. You will find answers to all other questions regarding tickets, including precautions and procedures in case of cancellation at: https://www.billetlugen.dk/campaign/edsheeran-faq.

In the event that you have been scammed or have other questions about your ticket, please contact Billetlugen who is responsible for ticket sales for the concerts.

Standing tickets give you access to one open area. You can therefore easily find your friends at the venue even if your tickets indicate different entrances.

CHILDREN & BABIES

Everyone at the venue must have a valid ticket regardless of age. It is not possible to bring prams, strollers or the like for the transport of the youngest guests at the venue.

TRANSPORT TO AND FROM THE CONCERT

Øresundsparken as a concert venue is logistically well-placed (and beautiful) – close to the airport, metro, motorway and public transport, and within cycling distance to Copenhagen’s center and neighborhoods.

We will be a lot of people – 45,000 – sharing the concert experience each day. We recommend taking public transport, cycling or walking to the concert as public parking in the area is very limited.

We have done everything we can to make the event run as smoothly as possible. Be aware that it may take some time to get into and out of the venue. Moreover, parts of Amager Strandvej will be closed during the period. If you arrive by car to Copenhagen, we recommend you park somewhere else in the city and take public transport to the concert.

In consultation with Tårnby Municipality and an external traffic planning company, signage has been arranged so you can easily find your way to and from the parking lots at Copenhagen Airport and to and from bus stops and the nearest metro stations.

🚇 Metro Line M2

The Metro line M2 stops right by Øresundsparken (Femøren St. and Kastrup Station).

M2 runs from Vanløse to Copenhagen Airport and consists of 16 stations in total. Along the way, you can transfer to the S-train at Vanløse, Flintholm, and Nørreport as well as to regional trains/planes at Copenhagen Airport. At Frederiksberg, you can transfer to M3, and at Kongens Nytorv, you can transfer to M3 and M4. You can find more info about the Copenhagen Metro at m.dk. On the dates of the concerts, the Metro Company has added extra trains, so the metro runs to and from the venue every 3 minutes.

🚌 Bus Line 5C

The bus line 5C runs very close to the venue.

After the concerts, extra buses will run every 10 minutes in shuttle service from Copenhagen Airport to Sundbyvester Plads from 10:40 p.m. – 12:40 a.m. The last extra bus from Sundbyvester Plads runs to the Central Station.

🚆 DSB Regional Trains

DSB regional trains run to Copenhagen Airport, which is within walking distance from Øresundsparken. After the concerts, extra carriages are added between the airport towards Copenhagen Central Station and from the airport towards Malmö Central. The same applies to IC trains from Copenhagen Central towards Jutland/Funen from 10:30 p.m. – 1:00 a.m.

Please note:

We must stress the fact that there is very limited public parking in the area, and we strongly recommend leaving the car at home or parking elsewhere in the city. Instead, use the extended public transport which has extra capacity to and from Øresundsparken for the concerts. Be aware that you should still expect extra travel and waiting time and possible queues.

We hope you bring a big smile (after all, you’re going to see Ed Sheeran) and patience and that you leave in good time for the concert. We recommend arriving at least two hours before the concert starts, so there is plenty of time to get everyone into the venue calmly and orderly.

The concert venue opens at 4:00 p.m., and the first artist takes the stage at 6:00 p.m. The concert ends around 10:30 p.m.

Acquaint yourself with the easiest route based on the appointed entrance to the concert – there will be signage throughout the area.

PAYMENT AT THE VENUE

You can only pay with credit card (Dankort, MasterCard, etc.) at all stalls and bars at the venue. It is NOT possible to pay with cash or MobilePay, so remember your credit card when heading out.

SECURITY

We have prepared for over a year to give you a safe and well-organized concert experience.

In the unexpected event that there is a need to evacuate the concert venue, emergency exits are clearly marked, and our security staff will guide everyone safely out of the area via the loud speakers.

We will be 45,000 people – 12,000 seated and 33,000 standing at the venue. The venue is arranged with ample space, meaning you should primarily stay in your place unless you’re heading to a food stall, bar, or toilet. For safety reasons, it is not possible to stand if you have purchased a seated ticket, and vice versa. This also makes it easier to find your friends and family again if you get separated. Keep your mobile phone with you throughout the concert. You may be asked to show your ticket if Security requests it.

Details about the applied security measures for such a large event are confidential, but we can inform you that a detailed security and evacuation plan, which has been prepared and pre-approved by the authorities and police, will be followed in the event of an accident or a threat.

There will of course also be visible security staff, paramedics and police present at the venue before and during the concert, whom you can always approach if you feel unsafe or need help.

SPECIAL NEEDS?

We have ensured that access to the venue is wheelchair-friendly and have dedicated areas with platforms for wheelchair users.

There are accessible toilets at all toilet areas.

With the purchase of a so-called wheelchair ticket, you can bring an escort for free. This requires an official escort card. Make sure to inform Billetlugen that you are bringing an escort when purchasing the ticket, as escort tickets cannot be issued on the day of the concert.

If you have questions regarding access to the wheelchair platform or anything related to a possible disability, you can contact Billetlugen at +45 70 26 32 67.

For safety reasons, it is not possible to bring rollators/walking frames onto the venue without a wheelchair ticket. If you are unable to attend the concert without one, please contact Billetlugen at +45 70 26 32 67.

The show is large and spectacular, so you can expect a big light show including fast flashing strobe lights – which can be disturbing for some – as well as pyrotechnics during the show.

If you experience any issues during the day, please contact Security, and we will try our best to assist you so that your experience at the venue is as good as possible. We will also be very grateful for any feedback and potential points of criticism regarding the accessibility of the venue after the festival. This will help us improve in the future, addressing anything we may have overlooked or need to change to ensure everyone has a positive experience.

MERCHANDISE

Official Ed Sheeran merchandise can only be purchased at the official stalls on the concert day.

CLOAKROOM

There is no access to any form of cloakroom or other storage for luggage, umbrellas or other items that are not allowed on the venue. If you arrive directly from the airport or Copenhagen Central Station, luggage can be stored there. All items that cannot be brought onto the venue must be left outside at your own risk. Unfortunately, we cannot help with any form of storage.

WHAT SHOULD YOU BRING?

To ensure you have the best concert experience, we recommend you remember the following on the day:

Before entering the venue:

  • Make sure your mobile phone is fully charged and bring a power bank if necessary.
  • Download your ticket to your mobile phone before arriving at the venue.
  • Send any tickets to those you are attending the concert with, so they can each download their tickets to their phones.
  • Meet with your group so you can enter together with the person who booked the tickets, even if you have distributed the tickets among yourselves.
  • Agree on a meeting point outside the venue so you can find each other and travel home safely together if you get separated during the concert.
  • 🔋 Make sure your mobile is fully charged as you must show your electronic ticket at the entrance.

If you run out of battery, go to the ticket office at the entrance, and they can help you find your ticket. If you lose your mobile or change your number before the concert, contact Billetlugen directly.

At the venue, remember to bring:
  • Your electronic ticket, which you download in your app. Read all about the ticket app at billetlugen.dk.
  • Photo ID.
  • Clothing and footwear suitable for the weather forecast on the day. We will be outdoors and staying up late. For example, bring a light raincoat. You are NOT allowed to bring an umbrella to the venue.
  • Credit card – the only payment method at the venue.
  • Small pocket cameras and mobile phones are allowed.
  • You may bring a small bag (smaller than A4 size).
  • Patience! There are many people who need to use the venue throughout the event and need to leave again. Queues may occur.

Generally, the less you bring, the quicker you get in. Be aware that it is NOT possible to store items or luggage during the concert, so items that you cannot bring into the venue are your own responsibility. Any left bags or items will be removed and disposed of by security personnel. We are NOT responsible for any items you bring that cannot be taken into the venue.

WHAT SHOULD YOU LEAVE AT HOME?

We will be 45,000 people – 12,000 seated and 33,000 standing at the venue – and there is plenty of space. Distance requirements are fortunately a thing of the past in Denmark, but we still need to show consideration and take care of one another.

For the same reason, the following items are NOT allowed:

  • Umbrellas
  • Folding chairs / Festival chairs / Crutches
  • Stools, benches, and blankets
  • Food and drinks in any packaging
  • Water bottles
  • Thermos flasks and mugs
  • Animals
  • Weapons or objects that can be used as weapons
  • Professional photographic equipment, SLR cameras, tape recorders, video cameras, audio and video recorders
  • Selfie sticks
  • iPads / tablets
  • Grills and similar items using open fire
  • Fireworks including sparklers and smoke bombs
  • Alcohol and all other forms of intoxicating substances
  • Laser pointers
  • Banners
  • Large bags/backpacks and suitcases. A large bag refers to all forms of luggage and storage that are larger than A4 size.
  • Prams and pushchairs
  • Rollators/walking frames – it is not possible to bring your walking frame into the concert venue for safety reasons. If you are unable to attend the concert without one, please contact Billetlugen before the concert.
  • Drone cameras due to the safety around the airport.

You can help us minimize queues and problems at the entrance by only bringing the absolute essential – and permitted items – to the venue.

If you arrive directly from the airport and bring luggage, it cannot be taken into the venue or stored, and you will therefore be denied entry. Luggage can be stored at the airport and collected after the concert.

You will be denied entry if the security personnel consider you to be clearly intoxicated or in other ways visibly influenced by substances.

Our security personnel have the right to conduct body searches at the entrance, as well as search any small bag you may have brought (no larger than A4 size). They have the final authority to decide whether an item – or person – can be admitted to the event or not.

LOST AND FOUND

In the unlucky event that you lose or forget personal belongings during the concert, you can contact the staff at the entrance. If you find valuables, you can hand them over to the security personnel at the venue. After the concerts, all lost items will be handed over to the Copenhagen Police Lost and Found Office.

If you bring items that are not allowed into the venue and therefore cannot be taken inside, storage during the concert is at your own risk. We do not provide cloakroom or storage facilities. So, only bring the absolute essentials.

ACCOMMODATION

If you wish to stay overnight near the venue, there are plenty of options in different price ranges. We have compiled a list of suggestions near the concert at oresundsparken.dk.
